Independent Tests Prove Advascan Technology is World Class
Advascan today is delighted to report that rigorous independent tests underline the world-class performance of its antispam technology.
After weeks of testing products from more than 40 different vendors, the journal "Network World" has released its findings, available at www.nwfusion.com.
Advascan is in the top 2 systems available worldwide - when compared with managed services, software or appliance-based products.

The Network World report provides full data for all antispam products tested. They are plotted in Chart 1, below. It is important to note that all antispam systems must seek a working balance between 'effectiveness' - the number of spam messages caught, and 'accuracy' - the number of false positives (good emails stopped by mistake).

- Advascan performance is for default settings with no tuning, and without unique 'Spam-Checktm' feature (which guarantees no loss of good emails). Chart 1 clearly shows that even on these default settings, only one vendor worldwide comes closer to the performance of a perfect spam filter
